I love this little story. It has a great moral for something kids(and adults) often have trouble with.
For books that you illustrate only, how much do you get to contribute the little details? I just wonder, because for books like these often are most fun when you look at things that the text never mentions, like Wolf boy sniffing the garbage disposal.
I wish I could see more of how Wolf Boy and the boy play well together, it looks like lots of fun.
Jed, these are awesome! Is this your next book that's coming out?
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick a favorite moment, but mouthful of fireflies is pretty solid gold.

I LOVE this. Hilarious and heart warming
ReplyDeleteThere's a home schooled kid that lives next door to me that seems remarkably similar to wolf boy.
PFFTTT
ReplyDeleteThis is great!

I like the part where he eats the fireflies.
